Product details
The PreSonus ERIS® STUDIO 8 Monitor Monitor, with the SKU 2777500113, is a top-of-the-line studio monitor that offers exceptional sound quality and performance. Building upon the success of the original Eris series, the E8 XT features a range of upgrades and enhancements that make it a standout choice for professional audio monitoring.
Featuring a powerful 140-Watt amplifier, the PreSonus ERIS® STUDIO 8 Monitor is equipped with an 8-inch woven composite woofer and a 1-1/4-inch silk-dome high-frequency driver, delivering a smooth and accurate frequency response. The front-firing acoustic port ensures superior bass-frequency reproduction, while the optimized internal bracing minimizes resonance for clear and consistent audio.
One of the standout features of the Eris E8 XT is its wide 100-degree horizontal dispersion, creating a broad sweet spot that is ideal for group listening and collaboration. The narrow vertical dispersion reduces reflections from your desk, ensuring a focused listening experience. The silk-dome tweeters provide snappy and accurate transient reproduction, while the woven composite low-frequency driver delivers tight, clear bass with plenty of punch.
With a range of acoustic tuning controls, including HF Adjust, Midrange Adjust, Acoustic Space settings, and Highpass filter, the Eris E8 XT allows for precise mixing contour and customization. The monitor also features RF interference protection, output current limiting, over-temperature protection, and other safety features to ensure reliable performance.
The PreSonus ERIS® STUDIO 8 Monitor is a 2-way active studio monitor with a new improved design featuring an EBM elliptical waveguide for a wider sweet spot. The larger ported enclosure enables the XT models to reproduce significantly lower frequencies than the original Eris models, making it a versatile choice for a variety of audio applications. The monitor also includes balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs for flexible connectivity options.
Specifications for the PreSonus ERIS® STUDIO 8 Monitor include a 100-120V 50/60Hz or 220-240V 50/60Hz power supply, a vinyl-laminated medium-density fiberboard cabinet, and a maximum continuous SPL of 102dB. The monitor is designed for professional use and is perfect for recording studios, post-production facilities, and home recording setups.
